Rollout the Body Online

Join me and Sukha Yoga for a 90 minute self massage class using massage therapy balls! (If you do not have some but live locally, we can deliver while supplies last).

You will be guided through a self massage class using the Therapy Balls. You’ll learn techniques that you can practice at home any time!

Massage reduces stress, pain and discomfort in the mind and the body. It improves overall circulation, nourishing the muscles, organs, connective tissues and other systems of the body, enhancing our overall health. Regular massage increases our flexibility and range of motion, improves our sleep, and even boosts our immune system! You’ll learn practical self massage techniques, infused with breath and yoga principals that you can use again and again. This class allows you to receive the healing benefits of massage at home until you can visit your favorite massage therapist again!

****This class is done using Massage Therapy Balls. Do not substitute with lacrosse/tennis balls or any other that isn’t specifically designed for massage. The massage therapy balls should come in a small mesh bag that can hold them together for some techniques. If you do not have any you can purchase the Yoga Tune Up Balls for $15 through me - email jintina@mettavt.com or through Sukha Yoga and we’ll meet you around the Burlington area to drop off before the class.

What You’ll Need:
2 Massage Therapy Balls and mesh bag
Some Floor Space and Wall Space (some postures are too intense on the floor and a wall can help us modify if we need to).
Yoga Mat or some other padding. This could be done on carpet/rug if you don’t have a mat, or on a folded blanket. Ideal to have room where you can move around on the floor in different positions.
Comfortable clothing and layers - some techniques you may want a tank top, and you wouldn’t want clothing that is too bulky to work the massage balls through. Having layers gives us options as we may be warmer and cooler at different parts of the class.
Laptop or other device and the ZOOM App.
If you have: a folded blanket, cushion or yoga block you can have those handy but not required, they can add in comfortable sitting positions while on the floor.
